Iranian short film ‘Alan’ is scheduled to be screened at the Paris Kurdish Film Festival in France.
Directed by Mostafa Gandomkar, ‘Alan’ will go on screen at the first edition of the event.
Paris Kurdish Film Festival is slated to host 18 Kurdish films from around the world.
‘Alan’ is a short film about a Kurdish man in Syria who has lost his home and family during terrorist attacks.
The Iranian short film made its international debut at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival on February 3-11, 2017, in France.
‘Alan’ has so far won a number of awards, including two awards at the 2018 Redline International Film Festival in Canada, top prize at the 14th Constance Short Film Festival in Germany, Best Kurdish Short Film Award at the 5th Duhok International Film Festival in Iraq, and best short film award of the 15th Eberswalde Film Festival in Germany.
The 1st edition of Paris Kurdish Film Festival is slated for July 3-6, 2019.
